After having humongous first weekend of more than 50 crores, Race 2 started falling down Monday onwards. The movie couldn't sustain well at the ticket counter in spite of zero competition and collected just 20 crores in the remaining 4 days of the week one - Monday 6.50 crore, Tuesday 5.75 crores, Wednesday 4.00 crores and Thursday 3.60 crores. The net first week collection of the movie now stands at 70 crores.

The fall was bigger in the mass circuits as places like central India came down quickly. The film held up a bit better in Delhi/UP and East Punjab. The first week collection is the highest for a film featuring Saif Ali Khan or John Abraham or Anil Kapoor.

 

Looking at the weekdays trend, it seems that the movie might have a tough second weekend and adding another 30 crores would be a difficult task for the movie.
